Right-click the Start button and open "Device Manager." Then, navigate to the "View" tab and check for a tick mark beside "Show Hidden Devices." If you don't see a tick mark, it indicates that devices are hidden. Click on "Show Hidden Devices" once to reveal them.
By default, certain devices aren't shown in the list. These hidden devices include: Devices that have the device node (devnode) status bit DN_NO_SHOW_IN_DM set. Devices that are part of a device setup class that is marked as a NoDisplayClass (for example, printers and non-PnP drivers)
Visit the device website or use Windows Update to find the appropriate drivers. Download and install them, and you should be good to go. It's like giving your computer a passport for the unknown territory of new hardware.
In the Hardware and Sound window, under Devices and Printers, click Device Manager. In the Device Manager window, double-click the category icon of the device to be enabled. Under the Device Manager category, click to select the device to be enabled. On the menu bar, click Action and then click Enable.
How to tell if someone is accessing your phone remotely? If you believe that someone has access to your Android phone screen, look for strange activities, such as apps running in the background, and evaluate the permissions granted to each app on your phone.
2. Unhide and Remove the Device. Sometimes Bluetooth devices can be hidden; to unhide them, open Device Manager, click on the View menu option and activate Show Hidden Devices. Now expand the Bluetooth driver option and Uninstall the device.
Then press and hold (or right-click) the device and select Uninstall > OK. After the driver uninstalls, press and hold (or right-click) the name of your PC (found at the top of the device list) and select Scan for hardware changes. This reinstalls the device driver.
Find My Device may be unable to locate your device if: It doesn't have power or has been turned off. It doesn't have cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity. This could be due to poor signal strength or the device's location.
Update Your Drivers. If the external hard drive is connected to the computer but still can't be detected in Disk Management, it may be caused by the outdated driver, or some errors exist in it. You should update your external Hard Drive drivers to fix the issue.
Try a Different USB Port: Sometimes, the issue might be with the USB port on your computer. Try connecting your Android device to a different USB port and see if this resolves the issue.
