We are experienced cruise goers (we go 3-4 times a year)Arvia is a beautiful ship but it is wasted on P&O.The food was bland and barely warm, the service is slow, the staff border on being rude- this is not how cruising should be.Our cabin was small and not clean. Sheets were not changed in 2 weeks - we were not surprised at all by an outbreak of a sickness bug as the cleanliness left

Really poor cruise

I’ve gone on +-10 cruises over the past 20 years, this was by far the worst. The positives - modern ship, nice finishes, friendly MDR and horizon and room attendants (olive grove team were grumpy and rude). Lots of restaurant options. Great gym with lots of equipment The negatives - P&O are really cutting costs.. For example, no free ice cream by the pools, which most other ships have. The

We were a bit afraid of traveling as we heard about the norovirus bug going on on Ventura on the previous trip before ours.We received an email from P&O advising us that boarding was running 4 hours behind so we needed to get to the terminal 4 hours after our original boarding time.As we do not live anywhere close to Southampton, we decided to leave early, and due to the fact we got to

Currently on cruise number 25 or 26 but first on P&O. To start on positive the internet is the best we've experienced at sea and the food in main restaurants is excellent, amongst best we have had at sea (apart from the buffet which is amongst the poorest). The main problem with the ship, part from it being very very dated, is that the logistics, moving and organising people is just utterly

The ship is looking very tired now and would benefit from a major refurbishment especially the air conditioning. All of the staff were very good and helpful. The menu was monotonous and we became bored of it very quickly in the buffet area on deck 9 and was probably aimed at targeting a more advanced in age person - Im sure that there is no need for a roast dinner for Lunch and Dinner 7 days

Hey travel fam, Mahendra and Jayshree here spilling the tea on our recent P&O Ventura cruise from May 25th to June 1st, 2024! Buckle up for some laughs (and maybe a few groans).Embarkation Shenanigans: Let's just say "organised chaos" doesn't even begin to describe it. Thanks to a norovirus outbreak on the previous cruise, embarkation was a nightmare. We ended up losing a whole day thanks to

Ruined Our Honeymoon
Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Iona

My wife and I saved up for a honeymoon cruise to Norway. Everything we saw suggested that Iona would be a luxury and peaceful resort at sea; it was our first cruise and we were both quite excited. We ended the experience tired and depressed.Firstly, the good. The cabin was really nice, we booked a Conservatory Mini-Suite which was spacious and afforded us some pretty sea views. We luckily

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azura

Having read many negative reviews about P&O and Azura I was wondering if I had made a mistake booking a two week trip to the Med from Malta.I’m happy to say that I had a great cruise and enjoyed my time on Azura.I don’t want swirly slides and bumper cars or adult only booze cruises. Therefore P&O cover the middle ground and most of the bases for a relaxing cruise visiting a good variety of

Our second mini cruise with P&O spending some non-refundable credits. Together with ROL, our preferred agents, we'd worked out how to best spend our credits and on this one we were able to book the Mayflower suite on B deck. Our first suite on a P&O ship although we'd regularly sailed with Fred Olsen in their Premier Suites. We were on a three night hop over to Zeebrugge near the lovely town of
