Valentine’s Day Outfits (2024)

The most romantic day of the year is just around the corner and with it being only a few weeks away, it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to wear.

I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day — it’s one of my favorite holidays. The focus on how special it is to know love, give love and receive love is a special treat, no matter how you are planning to celebrate or who you are planning to spend it with.

My ideal Valentine’s Day is getting dressed up with my husband and going out for a nice dinner. What can I say — I’m a romantic at heart, and that’s never to change. And what better of a place to shop for a beautiful dress for the occasion than Reformation? The Castalia Dress from their romance collection is absolutely divine. Pair it with a wool overcoat, knee high black boots, and the cutest gold heart earrings.

Mom and Dad’s night out? What a fun chance to dress up with a bit of an edge! This mesh long sleeve from Free People is just sheer enough to warrant a cute lacy piece underneath, and can easily be paired with a pair of wide leg trousers, a black and gold belt, and shoulder bag. Many of us have similar pieces in our closets already, so it doesn’t require buying a whole new outfit for the occasion. Score!

Spending a night out with your besties is one of the best ways to celebrate the people you love in your life. And this outfit will make you stand out in all of the fun photos you take as you tune in to the girly festivities. Think: lacy top, wide leg dark denim jeans, statement earrings, and your favorite winter boot. Have fun!

Especially when I know that a night on the couch with rom-coms is just what I need to fill my cup that year. But, we’re still celebrating, right?
