The 9 Most Popular Low Histamine Recipes in 2017

So here comes the nine most popular Low Histamine Recipes in 2017 – which one is your favorite??

Red Antihistamine Juice

One of the things I have figured out works the best for me when I have an excess of histamine in my body (when my histamine bucket is overflowing), is to make some fresh juice in my slow juicer. It helps reduce most of my symptoms, but especially stuffed sinuses, sluggishness, and abdominal pains.

Histamine Friendly Nomato Sauce

But after having tested numerous of Nomato Sauce recipes, I finally found a combo which i LOVE and the kids like too. Pasta night was saved :D!! And you guys seem to love this recipe too 😀 I have seen many creations made with this recipe since I posted it 🙂 I love to see your creations, so please tag me if you make any of my recipes or your own creations using this lovely base sauce 🙂

Bone Broth

While the histamine friendly bone broth recipe is actually from 2016, it has really gained interest here in 2017. And is visited daily by you guys. I plan on updating this post very soon, with some new pictures and my experience with using Bone Broth for healing my gut and therefor also improving tremendously on my histamine intolerance! So stay tuned 😉

Antihistamine Tea Blend

While this recipe is so simple, you can hardly even call it a recipe. It is nonethe less a great tea blend for anyone with histamine issues. And I find that it really calms my body’s reactions to histamine down. It soothes my stomach when it is upset and helps against sluggishness. I also feel like it helps my body calm down again, when my heart is racing. I some times get some crazy heart palpitations – not fun at all.

Low Histamine Lasagna

This recipe is an absolute favorite in my family!! Besides being low histamine it is also dairy free! And you can easily make it gluten free as well 😀

Green Antihistamine Juice with Moringa

Here is another one of my favorite (and your favorite) juices to help keep my “histamine bucket” low. Or simply help my body get better if/when my “histamine bucket” overflows. This green juice is made with the super potent anti inflammatory herb moringa oleifera.

Carrot Ketchup

During this winter we eat a lot of oven roasted veggies in my family (especially a lot of crispy sweet potato fries). And I was really missing ketchup or just something to dip the fries in 😉 And along came this carrot ketchup🙂

Jerusalem Artichoke Dip

I guess more people than me was missing hummus 😉When I first started eating a low histamine diet, I was like “what the heck can I eat as a snack now?”. One of my most frequent snacks was veggie sticks (or homemade tortilla chips if I was in an unhealthy mood ;)) with dip….. think guacamole, tomato salsa, hummus, tapenade, sour cream and dill….. the list goes on. So it was time for some new thinking in the dip department and along came this Jerusalem Artichoke Dip (which btw is perfect for this of year). I have made many other veggie based histamine friendly dips since then, you can find them all in the dips archive of my blog.

Low Histamine Cassava Pizza Crust – Grain Free

Over the past year I have been searching for a great low histamine and grain free pizza crust. And during this year I have been testing more pizza crusts than I can count. Some have definitely been better than others, and some have been down right awful. But this Low Histamine Cassava Pizza Crust, made from cassava I really like! And so do you guys apparently 😉 Ideas for other histamine friendly pizza toppings can be found in my pizza archive 🙂
