You will always be remembered, Mary Rehoboth man held in kidnapping Gladys Baynard Gladys Baynard, 86, of 2307 N. West died Sunday of congestive heart failure in St. Francis Mrs.

Baynard was a domestic worker. She was an active member of Police LEWES A 59-year-old Rehoboth Beach man was arrested after he allegedly kidnapped a Millsboro woman Wednesday on Delaware 24 near Lewes. State police at Georgetown said the 26-year-old woman, who was not identified, was standing near her disabled car at about 12:30 a.m. when Charles N. Beebe of Rehoboth Beach stopped to assist her.

She accepted a ride from Beebe, but when he stopped his car at the side of the road she tried to escape, police said. Beebe allegedly forced the woman back into the car. The woman then persuaded Beebe to take her back to her stranded vehicle, police said. She was able to obtain the license number of Beebe's car, and he was arrested later Wednesday. Beebe was charged with second-degree kidnapping and held in Sussex Correctional Institution near Georgetown for lack of $10,000 bail.

Man killed in car crash An Easton, man was killed in an accident at Maryland 213 and U.S. 301 Tuesday night when another car allegedly failed to stop for a red light. The crash in Queen Anne's County occurred about 7:30 p.m., state police said. Leonard Brooks, 30, was northbound on Maryland 213, crossing U.S. 301, when the car driven by Roger A.

Sarlouis 20, of Johnstown, passed the red light on U.S. 301, police said. Sarlouis was charged with failure to stop. Drug raid nabs three REHOBOTH BEACH Three people were arrested after city police found drugs and stolen property in their apartment on Columbia Drive. Christina Pond, Todd Neff and Floma E.

Ladley THOUSAND ISLANDS, Y. -Floma Edge Ladley, formerly of "Beverly," near Kennett Square, died Tuesday at home in the Thousand Islands. Her age was not disclosed. Mrs. Ladley moved to Vero Beach, about 10 years ago.

She lived there in the winter. She was a 1920 graduate of Wel-lesley (Mass.) College. During World War II, she was a lieutenant in the Red Cross Motor Corps. She was a former member of Wilmington Country Club, Far-mington Country Club in Charlottesville, Johns Island Club in Vero Beach, the Clayton (N.Y.) Yacht Club and the Thousand Islands Club, Alexandria Bay, N.Y. Her father was the late J.B.D.

Edge, vice president and director of Du Pont Co. Her husband, Edwin died in 1962. She is survived by a son, Edwin S. Jr. of Wilmington; a sister, Anita Edge Weisbrod of Kennett Square; four grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in "South Meadow," the Edge family burial ground, Kennett Square. There will be no viewing. RoseT. Miller Rose T.

Miller, -84, of 1003 Kia-mensi Road, died Tuesday following open-heart surgery in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was a member of Upland (Pa.) Baptist Church and the ladies auxiliary of Delaware County Fire Company. Her husband, Laurence Hayes, died in 1973.

She is survived by a son, George F. Smith of Allenwood, N.J.; a daughter, Carol M. Blackburn, with whom she lived; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in George H.

Brower Funeral Home, 1600 Edgmont Chester, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Burial will be in Chester Rural Cemetery. Walter V. Ware Walter V. Ware, 61, of 127 Wed-gefield Drive, Wedgewood, New Castle, died Tuesday of an apparent heart attack at home.

Mr. Ware was a plasterer with Local Union 38 for about 40 years, retiring several years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. John's Lodge 2 New Castle, and the Delaware Consistory.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Arters; two sons, Edwin W. Sr. of Crofton and Leon D. Sr. of Pine Valley Farms; a daughter, Diane R.

Johnson of Wedgewood; and 13 grandchildren. Services and burial will be private. Harry A. Hall TOWNSEND Harry A. Hall, 65, of Summit Bridge Road, died Wednesday of cancer in Christiana Hospital.

Mr. Hall worked for Electric Hose Rubber Wilmington, for 22 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of Union Lodge 5, and the Delaware Consistory. He is survived by his wife, Pearl a son, Harry E. of Newark; a daughter, Elaine Atkinson of Town-send; two brothers, Kenneth M.

Hall of Beacon, N.Y., and Charles L. of Warwick, two sisters, Katie L. Collins and Grace H. Collins, both of Middletown; and a grandchild. Services will be private.

Powell services CHESTER, Pa. Services for Lois Elaine Powell, 21, who died Tuesday following a high-speed Francis Walsh were arrested following a four-day investigation by police, who discovered $130 in stolen property, an undisclosed amount of marijuana, LSD and drug paraphernalia in the apartment Wednesday. Neff was charged with two counts of possession of marijuana, one count of delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling for drug' delivery. Walsh was charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. a Police could not provide the charges against Pond.

Bones found to be animal Bones found at Pickering Beach on Sunday were determined by the state medical examiner's office to be animal, not human. A resident touched off an investigation after telling state police at Dover about the bones on the beach about three miles south of Little Creek off Delaware 9. The type of animal is unknown, but the investigation is closed, the medical examiner's office said. Boy, 15, hurt in car crash DELMAR, Md. A 15-year-old was injured when his car hitan animal and skidded into a tree Wednesday morning on Norris Twilley Road, Maryland state police at Salisbury said.

The youth, who police would not identify, was southbound just north of Norfolk Drive. The car was destroyed, police said, and the youth was treated at Peninsula General Hospital in Salisbury. Walsh was a homemaker. She was active in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Wilmington, and was a member of St. Patrick's Senior Center and Graham Senior Center. She was an accomplished pianist and played during the silent film era at the Grand Theater, now the Grand Opera House.

Her husband, Joseph died in March. She is survived by two sons, Justice Joseph T. Walsh and Peter J. Walsh, both of Greenville; three daughters, Teresa M. Taylor and Dora A.

John F. Nolan John F. Nolan, 57, of 610 N. Du Pont Road, Richardson Park, died Tuesday of a heart attack in Christiana Hospital. Mr.

Nolan was a receiver for four years with Super Fresh food market, Marsh and Silverside roads. Before that, he worked for for 18 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Claymont post. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley Higginbotham; a son, Gary F.

McLaughlin, 85, of 6 Glenbarry Drive, Highland West, formerly of 1201 S. Rodney died Tuesday of heart failure in Leader Nursing Rehabilitation Center, Foulk Road. Mrs. McLaughlin was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality.

She also was a member of the Junior Board of St. Francis Hospital. Her husband, Charles died in October 1986. Surviving are two daughters, Alice E. Goetz of Blue Rock Manor and Geraldine H.
